“Many States Supporting Traditional Families Rather Than Pride Week”

From Donna Garner

Yes,
Pride is one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

More and more people along with major marketing companies in the United States are withdrawing their support for “Pride Week.”

Target Corporation found out the hard way in 2023 that the public did not like management’s support of gender-neutralized bathrooms.

The public also did not like the LGBTQ+ displays at the front of their stores where all little children coming in the door could clearly see them.

Over the weekend (5.31.26), Queerty (a digital platform covering “LGBTQ+” news) reported,
As expected, Target’s Pride collection is a rainbow flop.

Jeff Childers of C&C News stated:

“I had to report from Queerty because
this year, corporate media didn’t even bother covering the continuing shrinkflation afflicting 2026’s Target ‘Pride Month’ displays

In some stores,
the retailer provided only a single small rack

On the second day of Pride Month, not a rainbow or colorful character can be found near the top of Target’s website.

Instead, we discover
a normal-sized, white nuclear family with a blonde mom and a “USA” shirt…

Childers went on to remind us that
…In 2021, Joe Biden hosted his now-infamous ‘Trans Day of Awareness’ at the White House, complete with Pride Flags hung above American Flags and deranged topless men sporting silicone implants.”

It was in 2025 [Pres. Trump’s second term] that the Fall of Pride “became clearest in June itself,
as outraged media coverage reported corporate Pride sponsorships draining away like the tides.

Attorney Jeff Childers went on to say that the
6.2.26 edition of the New York Times had zero Pride stories on its home page and thatcorporate media’s squeamish avoidance of celebrating atypical sexual lifestyles is a key indicator that things are headed in the right direction.

TENNESSEE

…Last month,
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed a resolution from the state legislature designating June asNuclear Family Month.

The nuclear family, consisting of one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children, is God’s design for familial structure and has been the bedrock of society since the creation of the world,”
 the resolution explained

“The nuclear family is God’s perfect design for humanity and is aligned with the long-held traditional values of Tennessee.”

The resolution
cited datalinking fatherlessness and unstable family structures to higher rates of poverty, substance abuse, mental health and behavioral issues, suicide, and incarceration of children and youths.”

It also cited a 2016 study by psychologist Peter Langman on 56 school shooters, saying “82% of the shooters were raised in an unstable family environment or without both biological parents together.”

The resolution, sponsored by Republican state Rep. Bud Hulsey,
moved through the Tennessee legislature over the course of more than a year

The resolution was first approved by the Tenn. House 72-18 in April 2025
--
before the Senate passed an amendment in March 2026 that changed the designation from June 2025 to June 2026, according to legislative records.

The House later concurred in the amendment in a 72-14 vote, sending the measure to [Gov.] Lee’s desk.

Practicing attorney Jeff Childers stated:

SCOTUS has repeatedly held that the government may endorse messages that it wants (e.g., on monuments or license plates) without having to be viewpoint-neutral, since it is the government’s own speech.

After all,
resolutions don’t hurt anyone; they neither create nor destroy rights.

It’s a delightful new trend
.”

INDIANA

As reported by Fort Wayne affiliate Alive-21: “
Gov. Braun proclaims June ‘Nuclear Family Month’ in Indiana.”

Indiana’s is a “proclamation” instead of a resolution but enjoys the same free speech protections.

In the proclamation
, Indiana Governor Mike Braun also described the nuclear family asconsisting of one husband, one wife, and any biological, adopted, or fostered children, echoing that the nuclear familyis God’s design for the family structure.”

“The nuclear family has been the foundation of society since the creation of the world. Indiana will continue supporting policies that strengthen families and help the next generation thrive.”

ALABAMA

In Alabama,
Governor Kay Ivey proclaimed June to be Strong Families Month.

She quite rationally tied it directly to Father’s Day
(Sunday, June 21).

The Governor said,
Fathers lead, support and protect families…In coordination with Father’s Day, I am recognizing fathers’ lasting impact on the lives of Alabama children and families.”

“As the head of the household, fathers play an essential role by providing leadership, protection and support that help shape strong families and communities.”

ARKANSAS

Republican Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders
declared June 2026 as “Fidelity Month,” saying in the declaration that her state is committed tocultivating fidelity to God, family, community, and country, whichcontributes to human flourishing and supports a health, stable, well-ordered society.”

The declaration added,
June will be promoted by community and faith leaders as a time to encourage renewed dedication to these virtues and institutions."

CORPORATE MEDIA IGNORING THE OBVIOUS

As Jeff Childers so clearly explained:

These courageous resolutions and proclamations represent more than just gentle pushback against ‘Pride Month.’

Indeed they are pushing back, but they are also advancing conservative ideals —nuclear families, strong fathers, the fundamental religious foundation for the family…

This year, the biggest story might be how studiously
corporate media is trying to ignore these proclamations and resolutions— rather than denouncing them.

In fact,
mute corporate media outlets (NYT, WaPo, CNN, MSNBC, etc.) have run zero prominent national stories on these [pro-nuclear family] 2026 proclamations.

DEDICATED INFLUENCERS

In summation,
Jeff Childers gave appropriate credit to influencers such as Robbie Starbuck, who in 2024-2025 conducted a series of successful social media campaigns to name-and-shame woke U.S. corporations

“Like dominoes, they fell, one after another:
John Deere, Harley-Davidson, Lowe’s, JPMorgan, Walmart, Toyota, and more.”

The New York Times called [Robbie] Starbuck “the anti-DEI agitator that big companies fear most.”

Corporate LGBTQ+ engagement is contracting.

According to Gravity Research’s 2025 Pride Pulse Poll, 39% of companies REDUCED overall Pride Month engagement in 2025 (reduced 9% in 2024)  – a fourfold increase year over year.

    • 28% to 37% of consumers say that in recent years, they’ve noticed brands scaling back Pride Month participation

Other statements based upon Gravity Research:

In this past decade, we’ve gotten used to companies changing their logos, rolling out LGBTQ+ related marketing campaigns, and coming up with all sorts of limited-edition products or offers in June.

However, this kind of behavior is slowly changing as brands scale back their Pride activities.

Baby boomers care the least about Pride participation. However, their perception varies significantly by country.

Only 28% of American and 31% of British boomers care about brand involvement in Pride Month, while in Canada and Australia, the percentages reach 41% and 42%, respectively.

Unsurprisingly, the shift in how brands approach Pride Month hasn’t gone unnoticed by consumers.

The survey shows that 37% of Americans, 28% of Brits, 33% of Canadians, and 34% of Australians say they’ve noticed brands reducing their participation in Pride events in recent years.

Among LGBTQ+ members, this awareness was even higher, ranging from 58% to 67% across countries
