“Dems Flipped the Script – Have Brought Politics Into the Church”
[COMMENTS FROM DONNA GARNER – Thankfully, the head of the largest Protestant denomination in the United States has had the courage to speak Truth about these upcoming elections.
Many churches frown upon their congregants bringing religion into politics.
However, in this upcoming mid-term election on 11.3.26, the Dems have “flipped the script.”
They have brought “politics into the church” by using Biblical references to try to fool voters, many of whom do not read their Bibles.
We as voters must not be fooled by false rhetoric.
The Bible upon which the Declaration of Independence and our U. S. Constitution are founded is very clear on the sacredness of marriage, family, human sexuality, and the rule of law.]

Kudos to Pastor Willy Rice!
The president of the Southern Baptist Convention is urging pastors across America to speak up about the critical issues confronting America in the 2026 elections.
He has noticed, as I have, that while conservative Christians are told to keep our faith out of politics, the Religious Left has gotten even more politically active, especially this year.
Some pastors have told me that raising “political issues” hurts the cause of Christ.
Thus, they avoid these so-called “political issues” like the plague.
But in doing so, they are failing to speak up about moral issues that are confronting the Church, our families, and our country.
As Dr. Rice [President of the Southern Baptist Convention] warns, they [Christians who think they should be silent about politics] are creating a vacuum that the Left gladly fills.
Dr. Rice urged pastors to focus on these specific issues:
- What Scripture says about the sanctity of life and God’s design for us as men and women.
- The dangers of growing socialism and Islamism in America.
- Immigration, borders and the rule of law versus blind compassion.
Several states have referenda on the ballot regarding abortion and transgender issues.
The Bible is NOT silent on these issues.
It speaks very clearly about life and gender.
Dr. Rice warns that socialism is a worldview that makes the state supreme.
Socialism destroys constitutional rights and private property, while it promotes envy.
Regarding radical Islam, Dr. Rice writes, “A politician who cannot condemn terrorism cannot be trusted to defeat it…Pastors who love their neighbors, including our Jewish neighbors, must help their congregations to see that.”
The Marxist/Islamist alliance is a very real threat to Judeo-Christian civilization.
Marxists and Islamists hate America, and they hate Israel.
The radicals attending pro-Hamas campus protests and anti-Israel demonstrations in major U.S. cities are part of the Democrat Party coalition --- NOT Republicans.
RADICAL DEMS -- NOT REPUBLICANS -- AT PRO-HAMAS DEMONSTRATIONS
The radical, violent pro-Hamas demonstrations made Marxist Muslim Zohran Mamdani mayor of New York City this year -- just 25 years after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
That same coalition may put Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed, a socialist and an Islamist, in the United States Senate.
On immigration, Dr. Rice nails it. He writes:
“We must reject the argument that compassion requires Christians to support open borders…That argument is both manipulative and diabolical. Loving people does not mean leaving the doors of your house unlocked.”

POLITICS AS A “FORM OF MINISTRY”
Democrats have had a serious problem with Christian voters ever since Ronald Reagan’s election in 1980.
So, they went out of their way to recruit a few leftists who can quote chapter and verse of the Bible while trying to steal the Gospel of Jesus Christ and distort the Bible to promote their radical leftist agenda.
James Talarico is the poster boy for this obvious effort to confuse faith-based voters.
He’s even a seminarian student.
Talarico [said he] “struggled” with the decision to run for the Senate or finish his religious training.
But his far-left pastor, Rev. Jim Rigby, who effectively denies the divinity of Christ, convinced Talarico to jump into the political arena.
He told Talarico that his Senate campaign could be “a form of ministry.”
That would be true if spreading the Gospel of Marx qualifies as “ministry.”
As I have often said, politics is the Left’s “religion.”
Government is their “god.”
And donating to political candidates and causes is their “tithe.”
I don’t know what Bible Talarico is reading.
He says his Bible is silent on abortion.
His Bible told him there are at least six genders and that God is “non-binary.”
He has preached sermons in his church about abortion and transgender issues.
In fact, he put the two issues together when he declared, “Our trans community needs abortion care too.”
RADICAL DEM SENATE CANDIDATE IN KANSAS
Democrats recruited radical Adam Hamilton, the former pastor of the largest Methodist Church in America, as their Senate candidate in Kansas.
Hamilton has no problem promoting transgender ideology from the pulpit.
Hamilton was highly critical when President Trump repealed Biden’s extreme executive orders pushing radical gender ideology on our children. (Matthew 18:6 comes to mind.)
RADICAL DEM IN IOWA
In Iowa, Democrats recruited Sarah Trone Garriott, a Lutheran pastor, to run in a competitive House district.
In addition to holding extreme left-wing views on every issue, the big lesson she learned from 9/11 was just how Islamophobic America is.
So, when Islamists kill 3,000 Americans, Sarah sees Americans as the problem!
